Creating a new Submission
The Submissions tool provides a step-by-step guide to help you submit your solution for review and receive approval by Boomi admins. You can create submissions for:
- Recipe
- AI Agent Recipe
- Accelerators
- Designer Agent Accelerators
Before you begin creating a Submission, review the specific requirements for your asset type below. This ensures you have the necessary technical details and documentation ready to complete your submission to the Boomi Marketplace:

For Solutions of type Recipe or AI Agent Recipe:
- Recipe & Bundle Details: Each recipe has an associated Bundle. Select the Bundle to attach to this Recipe and provide the required information.
- Assigned Tags: You must assign tags to help categorize your recipes on the Boomi Marketplace. They allow administrators to categorize recipes, making them easier for users to search and find. When submitting recipes, use appropriate tags to list them under relevant categories on the Boomi Marketplace.
- Recipe Demo: The demo recording helps the Boomi team follow along visually and better understand the recipe before approving the submission.
- Key Features: Highlighting key features helps users understand the benefits of your recipe.
- Support: Share support documents to provide additional details related to your recipe.
- Community article: Download and complete the community article template, and then upload or link it in the field. This article provides users with additional context to better understand your recipe that will be published in the Community Forum.

For Solutions of type Accelerator or Designer Agent Accelerator:
- Accelerator Details: Provide details of your Accelerator, including the Title, a Summary, Level of Difficulty of the Accelerator, and an optional Logo image.
- Assigned Tags: Tags help categorize your solution on the Boomi Marketplace. Administrators can categorize Accelerators, making them easier for users to search and find. When submitting Accelerators, use appropriate tags to list them under relevant categories on the Boomi Marketplace.
- Accelerator Demo: To support evaluation of your Accelerator for publication on the Boomi Marketplace, submit an end-to-end demo showcasing the business value, technical architecture, and configuration of your Accelerator.
- Key Features: Optionally share customer-facing videos and highlight key features and benefits of your Accelerator.
- Support: Add support documents related to your Accelerator by sharing a Google doc link or uploading a file.
Feedback process
The feedback mechanism facilitates communication between you and the Boomi admin, ensuring submissions meet Boomi standards. Boomi admins can add detailed comments directly in the Submissions UI, activating the comment window for you in the Action Needed status, to outline specific areas for review. You must review and address all comments to ensure your submission meets the guidelines.
Email notifications
After submitting the Solution, you will receive an email notification about your submission status. Take necessary actions as needed. The system notifies you via email in the following scenarios:
- Submission reviewed and not approved: Review the feedback on the submission, incorporate necessary corrections, and then resubmit.
- Submission approved and published: Boomi admin has approved and published your submission to Boomi Marketplace.
Next steps
Upon meeting the Boomi standards, the Boomi admin approves and publishes your submitted solutions on the Boomi Marketplace. Successfully publishing your solution on the Marketplace will help increase your solution’s visibility among Boomi users and support your go-to-market efforts.
