Changing a connector’s visibility to hidden

By changing a connector's visibility to Hidden, you hide the connector from public view. You may do this if you want to restrict access or retire the connector and release another one.

Before you begin

• A hidden connector is visible only to accounts where it was visible before being changed to Hidden.
• You cannot change public connectors’ visibility to Hidden when they are available on the Atom/Connector Versions tab and pending full public release.
• Only Private connectors can be changed to hidden without any review.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Boomi Enterprise Platform.

2. Select Settings > Account Information and Setup and select the Developer tab.

3. In the Connector Groups list, select the connector group containing the connector you want to change the visibility to Hidden.

4. In the Connectors list, click Actions and select Change Visibility in the menu.

   The Change Connector Visibility dialog opens.

5. In the Visibility list, select HIDDEN.

   note

   After you hide the connector, you cannot change the visibility again.

6. Click OK.

Next steps

The hidden connector will not be visible in new accounts in the future but will remain visible in accounts previously visible. To effectively retire the connector, supersede it by releasing another connector.
