AI Agent Management overview

Boomi AI Agent Management simplifies the creation and management of business integrations and automation using artificial intelligence (AI). It uses AI agents to increase productivity, provide insights, and connect applications, data, processes, people, and devices.

AI agents are software components that have a defined objective and personality that guide their actions and decision-making processes. Refer to About AI agents to learn more about what AI agents are, how they can benefit your organization, and when to create an AI agent.

You can leverage agentic transformation in the Boomi Platform through:

  • Boomi Agentstudio - Within the Agentstudio, you can utilize the Agent Designer, Agent Garden, and Agent Control Tower to create and manage custom agents from Agent Designer or other sources for your unique business needs.

  • Boomi AI agents - The Platform offers a suite of AI agents that are embedded directly in the platform to accelerate integration and automation. Boomi AI Agents come pre-installed and ready for immediate use at no additional cost. These agents are different from the custom agents designed in Boomi Agentstudio.

Agentstudio​

Boomi Agentstudio is now in General Availability. This AI management solution enables organizations to design, govern, and orchestrate AI agents with built-in governance for control, oversight, and compliance. The Agentstudio Base Edition includes Agent Step and is available in all Boomi Enterprise Platform editions. For additional functionality and capabilities, contact your account representative.

Agentstudio includes capabilities across the AI development and management lifecycle, comprised of three main components:

  • Agent Designer - Design and deploy AI agents quickly with intuitive low-code templates and tools in the Agent Designer. Seamlessly train them on trusted data and ensure responsible development with built-in guardrails.
  • Agent Garden - Manage and interact with AI agents effortlessly using the Agent Garden’s intuitive interface. Organize and oversee your tools, deploy created agents, and streamline the AI lifecycle—all while enabling seamless multi-agent collaboration.
  • Agent Control Tower - Maintain control over AI agents with the Agent Control Tower, the governance layer of AI Studio. Proactively mitigate security and privacy risks while ensuring trust and compliance.

Building AI Agents​

You can build AI agents using the Agent Designer in Agentstudio. Read Agent Designer to learn more.

Publishing AI Agents​

Partner AI agents allow Boomi Enterprise Platform users to install and use best-of-breed AI functions from Boomi’s network of partners. These agents can be utilized in the same way as Boomi AI Agents and allow rich capabilities to be incorporated from across the digital ecosystem.

Only Technology Partners can publish AI Agent recipes on Boomi Marketplace. If you built an AI Agent and want to publish it, then you must apply to become a Technology Partner with Boomi. Read Publish AI Agents to learn more about becoming a Technology Partner.

Boomi AI Agents​

You can access pre-installed Boomi-created agents in Boomi GPT and throughout the Boomi Platform. Boomi DataDetective is in Early Access and can be installed by contacting your account representative.

  • Integration Advisor Agent - Optimize your integration and identify areas for improvement using AI analysis based on Boomi best practices.
  • Data Connector Agent - Autonomously build custom data connectors for any REST based data source. Accelerate ELT pipeline development up to 30x faster.

The Boomi AI Starter pack includes Boomi AI Agents. The pack is included with the following editions of the Boomi Enterprise Platform:
